Document Verification (DocV)

Add Document Verification (DocV) to your workflow to verify government-issued IDs, confirm user identity, and detect fraud in real time.

What is DocV?

DocV enables you to verify users’ identities by analyzing government-issued IDs, matching selfies, and detecting advanced fraud signals. It streamlines onboarding, strengthens trust and safety, and supports KYC/AML compliance across a wide range of domestic and international workflows.

DocV Omega

DocV Omega is the latest evolution of the DocV model. Instead of evaluating signals in isolation, it connects document and biometric evidence with identity, device, behavioral, velocity, network, and journey context, then assesses how those signals reinforce each other to produce a single calibrated fraud score.

DocV Omega gives you:

  • A calibrated fraud score. DocV returns an activeModelScore from 0 to 1 in a scores object, where a higher value indicates greater fraud risk. You decision on this score against a reject threshold you control. See Configuring Decision Logic.
  • Richer response signals. New nodes expose per-source extracted data (documentData.sources) and document, biometric, capture, and graph intelligence. See the DocV Webhook Payload Reference.
  • Backward compatibility. The decision object and reasonCodes are unchanged, so your existing integration keeps working with no changes until you choose to act on the score. No SDK update is required for v5 SDK integrations.
