Client Accounts

Understand your RiskOS™ client account, what you can access, and how your Channel Partner manages your environment.

If your organization's RiskOS™ account is managed by a Channel Partner, this section explains what you can see and do in your account. Your Channel Partner handles onboarding, product configuration, and — depending on your tier — workflow management on your behalf.

How your account works

Your account is part of a Channel Partner organization. The Channel Partner holds a management account and manages one or more client accounts, including yours. Each client account is assigned a plan tier — either Standalone or Centrally Managed — that determines which RiskOS™ features you can access.

Your Channel Partner is responsible for:

  • Onboarding your account and assigning your plan tier
  • Configuring products and enrichment settings
  • Creating users and roles for your team (in coordination with you, depending on your tier)
  • Managing workflows (Centrally Managed) or supporting your team as needed (Standalone)

What you can do

Your Dashboard

When you log in, the RiskOS™ Dashboard displays the features available to your tier. The sidebar contains navigation items for the features you can access, and the main content area shows the page you navigated to.

Key elements of your Dashboard:

  • Sidebar — Navigation links to Dashboards, Workflows, Cases, Reports, and other features based on your tier
  • Use case selector — A dropdown that scopes the Dashboard, Workflows, and Cases views to a specific use case
  • App bar — Search, notifications, and your user menu
  • Settings — Access to Users, Product Configuration, Audit Logs, and Configurations (availability varies by tier)

For more details, see Viewing Your Dashboard.

Your Channel Partner's role

Your Channel Partner can switch into your account at any time to configure settings, review cases, or manage workflows on your behalf. When your Channel Partner is viewing your account:

  • Their actions take effect immediately
  • All actions are recorded in your account's audit logs under Settings > Audit Logs
  • You do not receive a notification when they switch in or out
📘

Note:

Your Channel Partner's access to your account is not something you can restrict or disable. If you have questions about actions taken in your account, review the audit logs or contact your Channel Partner.
