Usage Scope

Ways to use Graph Intelligence

Graph Intelligence can be used to:

  • Model on Graph Intelligence data: Use the growing list of features returned by Graph Intelligence to introduce unique signals that capture your users' interactions across the growing list of organizations in Socure’s network.
  • Refine strategies by adding rules: Write rules on top of the Graph Intelligence response to fine-tune your strategies for risk and compliance management.
  • Respond to emerging fraud attacks: Add logic on top of the Graph Intelligence output to quickly respond to any fraud attacks or anomalies you experience that are not stopped through other means.
  • Make more informed manual review decisions: Get the complete picture of identities that are being reviewed and judge their connections in Socure’s Network Identity Graph to make the correct decisions.

Graph Intelligence as an add-on

Graph Intelligence works as an add-on product that can only be used as an addition to the following Socure products:

  • Email Risk
  • Phone Risk
  • Sigma Identity Fraud
  • Sigma First-Party Fraud
  • Verify and Verify Plus

In practice, this means that in order use Graph Intelligence in a workflow, you need to include at least one of these products in your workflow as well.

Graph Intelligence Standard & Graph Intelligence Plus

Graph Intelligence comes in two variations:

  • Graph Intelligence Standard: Provides Graph Intelligence features based on email and phone and their connections to the input name, covering a total of 5 lookup keys and over 100 features. Recommended for workflows that cover limited PII information such as only name and a phone number or email.
  • Graph Intelligence Plus: Provides Graph intelligence features on all PII inputs and 8 predefined combinations of inputs, covering a total of 15 lookup keys and over 250 features. Available as an add-on only to Sigma Identity Fraud, Sigma First-Party Fraud, Verify or Verify Plus. Recommended for workflows that collect PII such as national Id, address and/or ip.

In RiskOS™, Graph Intelligence Standard and Graph Intelligence Plus are each available as individual enrichments, so you can add the variation that fits your workflow. The general recommendation is to use Graph Intelligence Plus when possible and only use Graph Intelligence Standard for use cases with limited PII where you don't use any of the products Graph Intelligence Plus adds on to.

Limited PII workflows focused on only name and a phone number or email

Workflows that collect PII beyond name, phone number and email, such as national id, address and/or ip

📘

Note:

Graph Intelligence can only return features for the input PII that are provided. I.e. when using Graph Intelligence Standard and passing only a name and phone number, the only keys that Graph Intelligence features will be returned for are phone and fullName+phone since the remaining keys are missing an input email.

The exception to this rule is nationalId for which features will be returned based on an implicitly prefilled national id when no full 9-digit national id is provided in the input.

Geographical support

Graph Intelligence can be used worldwide, but as an add-on product is tied to the geographic support of the product it is added on to.
