Frequently asked questions (FAQs) about using Partner products within RiskOS™.

General product behavior

I don't see a certain Partner in the workflow enrichment step, but I have seen that Socure partners with them. How do I access it?

While some Partner products are enabled automatically for customers, others such as credit bureau enrichments have to be enabled specifically due to requirements around FCRA data usage and other restrictions.

In other cases, a Partner product might be a non-reseller/connector product where the user must first establish an agreement with the Partner before usage can occur.

Can I use multiple Partners in the same workflow?

Yes. RiskOS™ makes it easy to utilize as many Partner products as needed within a workflow.

You can also use Partner products alongside Socure products in the same workflow.

Do I need a separate agreement with each Partner?

It depends on whether the Partner is a reseller or connector partner.

  • Reseller partners: You contract with Socure, and Socure contracts with the partner. One agreement covers both.
  • Connector partners: You must establish an agreement directly with the Partner and configure the respective API credentials within RiskOS™.
Who do I contact for support, Socure or the Partner?

In most cases, you should reach out to Socure first. We can determine whether the issue is related to our integration with the Partner.

Depending on the situation, we may refer you to the Partner for further support.


Troubleshooting

Partner enrichment not connecting

If you are providing your own API credentials, ensure they are up to date and correctly entered.

Also check if the Partner service requires whitelisting RiskOS™ IP addresses.

Enrichment not being called during a workflow

Verify that the workflow condition logic is set up correctly (e.g., only send to this enrichment when the entity country is not U.S.).

Review the Decision Path feature in Case Management to track the flow of data through the workflow and confirm whether the enrichment was called or if there was an error.

I added a Partner product that is a Search enrichment, but I'm not receiving verifications.

Some Partner products are multi-step.

For example, you may need to use a Search enrichment first to locate the business entity, followed by subsequent enrichments to perform verifications, industry checks, or web analysis.

Ensure these enrichments follow the Search enrichment step in your workflow.

A Partner is returning different sanctions responses than Socure Watchlist.

This can happen due to differences in lists searched, matching thresholds, or other factors.

Treat Partner sanctions services as complementary to Socure’s Watchlist module.
