What is Digital Intelligence?

Digital Intelligence combines Device Intelligence, Behavioral Analytics, and an Entity Profiler service to stop fraud attacks and provide an online digital footprint of user activity across our network of deployments.

Customers who have completed Digital Intelligence integration on the RiskOS™ platform can access Digital Intelligence session data through RiskOS evaluation responses and webhooks.

The Digital Intelligence Suite consists of three services operating together to provide real-time data enrichment from online environments. By integrating Digital Intelligence you get access to:

• Device intelligence: Granular device-level attributes, device history/trail, device velocity metrics, network connection details, and risk indicators (e.g., forged or rooted/jailbroken devices).
• Behavioral analytics: In-session analysis such as form field entry timing, anomaly detection (copy/paste, inactivity), and automated interaction flags.
• Entity profiler: Rich historical profiles (digital footprints) at the PII level, linking devices to identities even when persistent IDs aren’t available.

All Digital Intelligence services are exposed via RiskOS evaluation APIs and webhook payloads, using JSON structures designed for easy integration and real-time enrichment within your workflows.

How it works

• Single SDK integration: Integrate with the Digital Intelligence SDK for Android, iOS, React Native, or Client-Side JavaScript.
• Session token retrieval: The SDK returns a sessionToken, which you pass to backend systems along with consumer PII.
• Evaluation request: Send a POST request to the Evaluation endpoint with the data.individual.di_session_token.
• Receive results: Responses include:
  • device object (device attributes for the session)
  • behavioral object (aggregate event counts)
  • velocityMetrics (historical metrics tied to a given device session)

What you can do with Digital Intelligence

• Detect account takeover fraud – Analyze login/session attempts using behavioral patterns and entity profiles.
• Prevent new account opening fraud – Enrich onboarding with entity profiling at the PII level.
• Reduce payment fraud – Screen transactions using device attributes, history, and geolocation/network details.
