Sandbox and Prod Environments

RiskOS™ provides two distinct environments to facilitate the integration process: Sandbox and Production. These environments serve different purposes:

• Sandbox: For testing and development.
• Production: For live, real-time data processing.

Sandbox environment

The Sandbox environment is a secure, isolated space designed for testing and staging. We recommend conducting all integration and testing activities here before deploying changes to the Production environment. By using the Sandbox API, you can interact with RiskOS™ without affecting your live data.

Note:

• Do not use real Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the Sandbox. Use dummy data exclusively for testing purposes.
• The Sandbox environment is independent of the Production environment, ensuring no live data is used during testing.
• It does not connect to live data service vendors, making it ideal for trial runs and experimentation.

Production environment

The Production environment is where RiskOS™ processes live, real data. After thoroughly testing in the Sandbox, switch to the Production environment for actual data processing.
