To upload your portfolio as an encrypted file to RiskOS™, follow the steps below.
Identify your use case
You can leverage a portfolio scrub to address common use cases, including:
- Identifying fraud trends
- Assessing the riskiness of onboarded individuals
Analyzing trends on whether applicants have updated or changed their contact information such as address, email, phone, and evaluate if such updates are indicative of fraudulent activity
- Maintaining regulatory compliance in preparation for an audit
- Recognizing synthetic patterns and money laundering
Based on the identified issue, we will provide recommendations regarding the selection of products for conducting a scrub. You have the option to choose which products you would like to include or exclude based on our suggestions.
Upload your portfolio as an encrypted file to RiskOS™
To upload the encrypted file, follow the steps below:
- Log in to RiskOS™.
- Click on Batch Jobs on the left navigation.
Click the Plus (+) icon in the upper-right corner, then select Upload File. Select the Analysis Type for the file.
- Drag and drop the file or browse to select the file to upload. Click Upload.
After receiving your file, Socure will start the portfolio scrub process.
Receive preliminary results
Allow your Socure team to execute the scrub operation. Socure will provide preliminary results within 1–2 weeks. Note that the duration may fluctuate based on factors such as file size and the quantity of products under evaluation.
Receive a comprehensive portfolio scrub readout
At the 3-week mark, your Socure team will conduct a thorough analysis of the results and deliver a comprehensive portfolio scrub readout. This report will encompass crucial insights along with recommended remediation strategies derived from our findings.
Create a CSV file for portfolio scrub
The following table lists the suggested data attributes for conducting a portfolio scrub.

| First Name | The consumer's first name. |
| Last Name | The consumer's last name. |
| Date of Birth | The consumer's date of birth, preferably in YYYY-MM-DD, YYYYMMDD, or YYYY/MM/DD format. |
| SSN/National ID | The consumer's Social Security Number (SSN) or national ID. |
| Physical Address | The consumer's residential address. |
| Email Address | The consumer's email address. |
| Phone Number | The consumer's phone number, specified as +X-XXXXXXXXXX. If the country code is not specified, the default code will be +1. |
| Timestamp* | The transaction timestamp. |
| IP Address* | The IP address used for submitting the transaction to Socure. |
| User Consent (if the selected module is eCBSV)* | Enter true if the consumer provided consent for their PII. Otherwise, enter false. |
(*) These fields are optional for performing a standard scrub to fulfill Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements. However, providing them can maximize the performance.
Note:
The specific fields required may vary depending on the modules you chose for the scrub. To optimize the end result, we recommend you gather all of the listed fields, if available.
