Capture App Flow Examples
This section describes typical Capture App flows for specific Predictive DocV products.
How it works
The Document Verification flow in the Capture App provides the consumer with a step-by-step process for capturing and uploading images of their government-issued ID and a selfie. Each time an image is successfully captured and submitted, the Capture App uses image validation services to check for quality issues (such as blur or glare) and confirm that facets within the image (such as the headshot, barcode, and OCR) are clear and readable.
Selfie Auto-Capture
Use the Enable Selfie Auto Capture Interface setting to enable or disable the selfie auto-capture feature and apply an updated user interface for selfie capture.

Set Document Type
Use the Document Type setting or API parameter to specify a single acceptable document type (driver's license) for the flow. After you initiate a document request, the Capture App will implement a simplified flow that skips the Selected ID Type Screen and starts the consumer on the Document Capture Front Screen.

Disabled Selfie Capture
Use the Selfie Capture setting to disable the selfie capture process for the flow. After you initiate a document request, the Capture App will implement a simplified flow that skips the Selfie Capture and Preview screens.

The Secondary Document Capture flow in the Capture App enables consumers to capture or upload supplementary documents (such as utility bills or bank statements) to enhance the verification process and reduce fraud.
When a Secondary Document flow is triggered, the consumer submits documents through the Capture App using either a single page capture or by uploading the file. After the Capture App uploads the documents to Socure's servers, you can then review the documents in the RiskOS™ Dashboard or retrieve them via GET request to the Evaluation endpoint.
The Selfie Intelligence flow in the Capture App provides the consumer with a step-by-step process for capturing and submitting a live selfie. Once the selfie is captured, the Capture App uses image validation services to check for quality issues—such as blur, low lighting, or improper framing—and confirm that the face is clearly visible. After submission, the selfie undergoes advanced biometric and liveness checks to ensure it was captured in real time and is not a spoofed or manipulated image.
Selfie Auto-Capture
Use the Enable Selfie Auto Capture Interface setting to enable or disable the selfie auto-capture feature and apply an updated user interface for selfie capture.

The Selfie Reverification flow in the Capture App is primarily used for reverifying consumers who have already completed the DocV process and received approval from the Predictive Document Verification module.
When a Selfie Reverification flow is triggered, the consumer submits a new selfie through the Capture App. The selfie then undergoes a liveness check that prevents fraudsters from using images of images or injected streams.
Selfie Auto-Capture
Use the Enable Selfie Auto Capture Interface setting to enable or disable the selfie auto-capture feature and apply an updated user interface for selfie capture.
