How SAML works with sub accounts

Socure allows you to structure your organization using a parent/sub account hierarchy. The parent account is your organization’s primary account. Sub accounts are child accounts of the parent account.


SAML sub accounts

To enable SAML for a sub account, configure a separate SAML app integration in your IdP. See Configure SAML Authentication for more information.

Note:

  • Sub accounts cannot share the same SAML metadata file as the parent account.
  • Sub accounts with SAML enabled must be accessed via the IdP dashboard.
  • Reset Password functionality is not available for SAML enabled accounts.

Non-SAML sub accounts

When you assign a user to a non-SAML sub account, they will receive an email with a link to set their password for logging in to the sub account from the RiskOS™ login page.
